Sometimes people don't realize that intuition just like anything else can become distorted.
A healthy intuition is a wise guide and friend. An unhealthy inituion not so much.
Since initution seems to me, to be sourced from our sub-conscious leaking into the conscious, it is hard to keep your intuition healthy through conscious knowledge. The best way i have found to keep inituition stable and balanced is by making sure the other 3 aspects of our psyche (thoughts, feelings, imagination) are healthy, balanced and stable.
When you become unhinged and unbalanced, then you begin to absorb upset and destroy inner peace. This is how we become stressed, disturbed and we lose discernment, inner peace and our clarity becomes clouded, foolish and inaccurate. Our relationships become strained and our decision making begins to work against us.
